Instructions for Architectural Review:

1. Download an application form
2. Fill it out
3. Attach a plat/survey of your property
4. Attach any plans, color swatches, etc that describe the work to be done
5. Email your application (or snail mail) to:
   • arc@theshakerwoods.org
   • SWHOA
     P.O. Box 1017
     Herndon, VA 20172

 

The Process:

1. Send your application to the ARC
2. All ARC members receive the application for review
3. An ARC member may contact you to do an external inspection of your property
4. ARC normally responds within 30 days of application
5. When the work is completed, please contact the ARC (arc@theshakerwoods.org) to do a final inspection of the work to keep the files updated and complete.
